I was going through my phone gallery from the Vegas trip (8 days for me) and found some gems. I can't recall ever celebrating like this ever before; so hard that I lost my breath, my words, my mind.
Prior to the trip, I bought these Ray Ban Meta glasses, as seen here with Deandre Hopkins.
This was the only picture of me that weekend from an external source. The rest of the footage was shot from the glasses, which gave a nice first person shooter perspective.
The glasses allowed me to go hands free - and take photos, shoot videos and of course go live stream on Facebook, to save my first person memories for eternity.
It was Vegas, so lots of partying ensued. In fact, I will see how to go about uploading some of that to this page over time. For now, I did want to share my initial superbowl celebration video from my perspective. Since it is shot from my glasses, you will hear me and see what I saw the moment I found out the Chiefs won (granted I could see that coming a mile away, which is why I started recording).
If you have never watched a game amongst fans of the opposing team, I don't recommend it for the weak, but the experience is out of body if you can handle it at least once. There's no better place than Vegas, the melting pot for fans of all teams in one spot, all vested with money on the line.
Trash talk (mostly directed at me, sitting in my Chiefs Jersey) was super high, as no one likes the Chiefs after winning 3 in a row. We are also sitting in the heart of Raider nation, while San Franscisco fans literally took over the strip. I couldnt even go to some places to watch the game because it was way too crowded, so this hotel casino was my best bet.
More to come as time permits.
