Situations and Value

Heres what I see here;

  1. The top ceilings happen to be with guys starting in the front of the race, which means that dominator points could end up being valuable. Infact lets peek at the track landscape from the last 5 years:

UPDATE: I had the wrong number of laps posted here

2. Larson, Hamlin, Logano and Bell have all been successful in leading the pack previously. In the scatter plot I see that there could be some leverage (aka green dot) on Hamlin so I like that play already. He is starting middle of the pack so it may require him to win to get the points he needs over the dominator points. Logano and Bell start closest to the front so they may be stronger (and chalkier) plays that could work out.

3. Ross Chastain is interesting as well as someone who tends to move up from where he has started. He starts in 8th and doesnt have a ton of ownership. Can he get up front? Or will he just cause a wreck.. gotta pay to find out with him one way or another.

4. Byron and Reddick are looking pretty chalky. I wonder who else is in those price ranges who could succeed with less ownership? Martin Truex is sandwiched right between the two.

Leverage

It seems that the mid range of drivers (8-13) are going under owned right now and therefore will monitor Chastain, Blaney, and Hamlin the most this morning. Things change and being optimal also helps so I will keep that in mind as we get closer to lock.

Summary

Overall, it appears that Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson and Martin Truex Jr. are drivers to consider for your lineup, as they are consistently at the top of the rankings across multiple metrics. Leverage wise we start seeing Denny Hamlin and other stand out, but check back leading to lock for updates!
