Lets take at Saturday's games first. Only 2 games and so I am looking at each game for showdown purposes.
Workload Expectations vs Salary
Week 18 may have thrown a wrench in the numbers for some of these guys but all in all, this is the lay of the land. Mahomes, Flacco and Pacheco have all had high workloads. They are also likely the highest owned too so we must pivot some places. CEH time in the receiving game? That could make things interesting. MVS as well is lurking out there. He cant suck forever, but if he sucks today, hes going to be fired outside the stadium, in the cold.
Vegas Projections
Both lines are actually pretty good but if I were to take one.. maybe its that Houston covers the spread vs Cleveland here. It is otherwise tough to target the over when you know its cold as balls.
KC vs Miami Showdown
Updated 5:00pm CST -> Waddle is the ideal capt if he plays if you wish to go leverage. Otherwise Hill and Mahomes are still viable.
As many know, I lost access to some data points at the end of 2023 which mean I will be slightly hindered in post season. That wont prevent me from trying to find leverage though. I am looking at the top section for captains and first thing I notice is that captain leverage is going to be tough to come by. I do see that from a usage perspective, it may be wise to just pay up for either Hill or Mahomes, which is not a leveraged move. Then getting to Rice + one other pass catcher for KC might be interesting. Noah Gray, MVS and Watson are the best bets. I always target 4-2 stacks.
Game Script
A strong indicator that Miami will run the ball with success today - unless they were to fall way behind (which is unlikely based on vegas projections. KC could attack by air if the WRs make the plays today. We have seen how that has gone all season though.
Defense vs Receivers
This is usually where its at to be honest. Understanding that Cleveland is toughest against WR1s and WR2s, I am not going there for passing, unless its a dart play at WR3. Miami funnels to the RB and WR2 - but need to see if Waddle is healthy. Finally KC and CLeveland face weaker pass defenses and that is nice.

Texans defense could be intruiging if you really want to get some leverage today as of now. Browns are likely the other option today imo.
