This chart was just built for the superbowl, as Draftkings has multiple high dollar contests available with very large fields. With only 2 teams to choose from in the showdown format, we have to search for angles in different ways to be unique enough to have a shot at 1st place. Lets talk about what we have here, row by row from top left to right.
DK Team Ownership: In showdown, sometimes you can find an edge by targetting the right team against the grain. Rams are the favorites and therefore they have the most ownership according to this chart. However the line shows that the bengals are more showing up in flex more often in optimal lineup build than the rams. Therefore building for 4 Cincinatti players could be one angle
RB, WR and TE counts just counts how many active players are in each position. TE for both team is low and therefore more locked in workloads may end up there.
DK Team Value shows which team is projecting for more value. It appears to be the Rams so having more Rams could be beneficial if taking this angle.
DK Position Value looks at which positions could have low ownership with high value. TE shows up here, so if a TE ends up in the winning lineup, I wont be surprised at all.
Next Row, DK Captain Leverage starts showing us who may be good to play at the captain spot. Not because of projections but because of the lack of ownership going that direction. I'm writing this live and can tell you that both Higgins and OBJ both have had TD opportunities already.
DK Flex Leverage looks at which players are under represented per their odds. In this case, Cooper Kupp leads the way so much that he may just be the best captain anyways. If playing someone like Kupp at captain, it means you must find another way to be contrarian and the other players in this list may help do that.
Next we see a chart of players who are also considered to be the top leverage plays on the slate.
Usg and Salary takes the usage percentage that I calculate out and compares to the salary. This is another way to find value on a slate.
When the game is over, I will post this particular lineup that I built (single entry in a large field) on twitter so be sure to follow @DFSed to see how this turns out!
