How to use our MMA Chart

This is our view of the UFC PPV on Feb 20th 2022 (posting after the fact, but data was from prefight). What am I looking at?

On the left side, the label consists of a number, which identifies the fight in which the fighter is in, name of the fighter, vegas odds, and the Draftkings salary. Then for the bars, I generate a list of custom odds towards success that I refer to as the "Best Bet %". The column is sorted by those odds so the top name has the highest chance of success.

The orange is the projected ownership of the fighter. Idealy you will want to target a few fighters where the odds exceed the ownership. An ideal case in the visual to target would be either Derrick Lewis or Tai Tuivasa for leverage. This is due to the high odds and low ownership.

On the right side, we have another chart to help determine which fights will produce the most violence. Fighters in fight number 2 are expected to have the highest odds of a win by KO or submission (Tai and Derrick). Fighters in fight number 7 have the highest odds of ending in a decision by the judges (Casey and Roxanne). Since this is posted the day after, I can confirm both events did play out that way.

The green line will show the projected pace of the fight. Those fights with a lower number tend to have the highest pace, which is the number of strikes expected to be thrown, vs clinch time.
