We got all sorts of games ahead today. Lets get right to it as we start soon.
Updated Ownership!
Expectations vs Salaries
Hurts is showing as the one who put in the most work - and faces the Giants who usually dont look like a decent football team. 3 QBs with similar ceilings and so I'm likely to take the one with the least ownership today. Pacheco looks like he has the highest expected ownership. Really low owned are the WRs Adams and Smith in the middle of the pack. The key is finding the upside that gets overlooked while also taking good players in good spots. The cheap value will also be names we look at (above the line).
Vegas Projections
The one issue with Philly today is that the game projects to go under the vegas total for me. If Philly underperforms, Hurts upside will be limited. I am looking at SF as the team that is projecting above their team total the most, followed by the Raiders, which I hate to see. I hope the raiders are projecting that way due to their inflated win last week vs the Chargers. As of this moment, Purdy looks like my favorite starting point.
Game Script notes
Some teams will have a strength vs weakness today and that is something I will try and reference as I build today.
Summary
We talked about the Vegas totals. From a running perspective, we may want to target the Raiders today (I dont want to but it seems to be an edge to doing so). None of the Qb situations really stand out but Hurts and Mahomes show the top usage as QBs.
QB
The situation is to either pay up or pay down for a rare build at lineup that likely has to make up points in skill positions. Purdy is in no mans land here. but I might lean Lamar or Mahomes first. Mahomes has the lowest ownership and it allows for a stack to Rice + Kelce for low ownership.
RB
Pacheco is showing as a clear value but also off of an injury himself and highest owned. CMC means you will need some form of cheap WRs to make it work. I see CEH is super low owned and should be a primary backup to Pacheco. Jacobs also is out so Zamir White is in play.
WR
I imagine that OBJ ends up being paired with CMC often since he is cheaper, although projecting low owned. Bateman is also cheap and higher owned so I also assume CMC means you are getting to Baltimore WRs. That is why Adams and Smith are low owned today. I'm in the mindset of paying up for WRs knowing that can be the case. Justin Watson shouldnt be ignored either as someone who could take on some targets from Mahomes at any point.
TE
The slant looks like these guys are mostly priced well. Waller is the lowest owned of the group.
Defense vs Receivers
CMC is actually in a good spot so that is tough. Kelce is also in a good spot so paying for him is also tough due to lacking value. Rice and Brown also look like solid plays.
Projections
Eagles defense will be tough to avoid chalk wise. If you want to take a flier, Maybe the ravens or giants defense will return value on DK for less ownership.
