We have a mixed bag between Fanduel and Draftkings games today. Lets get into it.
Ceilings vs Salary
Dak and Ceedee both have the highest ceilings on the slate, and come with quite the ownership expectations and price tags. I dont necessarily like Dak's passing situation today as much as the running situation, but workload wise its there. A big question mark sits around Watson and his workload today, but upside is there for the price as well.
Vegas Projections
I'm projecting the Rams vs Detroit game to bring in the most points today in a close matchup. It is right in line with the Vegas total though, so no edge there. I have Green Bay potentially covering the spread vs Dallas so that could be interesting if they can hit 3 touchdowns and limit Dallas under expectations. Finally, Tampa, I have winning outright by 5 today which is interesting.
Summary of Situations
The run game on both sides of the GB vs Dallas game are going to be interesting. Not saying to play both but I believe one or the other will end up having success. My RB finder says GB could be really successful in the run game while DVOA says that Dallas is facing a poor run defense, with help from their pass rush in giving them more opportunities. I dont have a lean yet though. Baker's passing situation is the most ideal on the slate.
Game Scripts
The Rams are facing a defense that funnels to the pass while Detroit is facing a team that gives up points in the run and pass game. I suspect they will run the ball well if they dont fall behind.
Defense vs Receivers
Pollard usage appears to be up even though he hasnt found a ton of success lately. I'l be curious to see how he is used today, and whether or not its worth paring him with Ceedee rather than Dak.
QB
Seems theres a decent chance to find value at QB as opposed to paying up for Allen or Dak. Love would be next in line but faces a tougher defense too, so Stafford and Goff may make the best choices on DK today.
RB
Kyren is pretty lockable even at his price and facing a tough defense. Pitt runners look like they share workload but at value. Jones vs Pollard is a decision point still.
WR
Watson playing or not playing is a difference maker to this trendline. Melton also interesting for cheap value.
TE
Kraft, Higbee and Ferguson show the most value at TE in terms of usage.
My Projections
Left side is Fanduel and Right side is Draftkings. I may be heaviest on the Lions, Cowboys and Packers defenses today. Good luck!
