The moment we've all been waiting for.. the nascar dashboard is back! Had some data issues this morning but should all be back to the norm. I like to use this to find the best plays for circumstances. In this case, its a short race so I am less likely to go with a dominator, but may look for guys who can score in their finish position and place differential. With it being the first road course, you already know I'm targetting leverage plays. Here's the first look
Updated!
Finishing place from practice is added here. I dont know how strong of a correlation that will be today so YOLO if you use it. I also added optimal percentage assuming upside is reached.
Some leverage may shift as new data comes out but I will consider the list as I build out my core this morning. Ill circle back as I get closer to finish out the details.
Another small tidbit I am keeping an eye on is the optimal percentage for each driver. Seems william byron may be the most optimal play on the board, although will still monitor his ownership to see if its worth going there. Check back in here and on twitter for updates as we get closer to kickoff!
Breaking this down a lil bit to find the hot spots, it seems Blaney isnt getting any love today. Good reason, with Larson and Chase in a dominant position. But he has had good history at road courses. May need to simulate what happens if he wins based on place differential, etc, but if hes sub 10% owned and wins- perhaps that changes lineup construction a bit.
