Sunday is here
Ceilings
My boy Mahommes is sitting atop the chart as usual. High priced guy with upside always if you can figure out how to fit pieces around him. Ekeler price is getting a little wider at RB, Kelce also high at TE, followed by what looks like Justin Jefferson next (or a cheaper Keenan Allen). One thing to note is that Kelce might have the flu, so you may want to watch reports on him Sunday morning. Onto the positional!
QB
There are many pivotable options at this point at the QB position. The highest value seems to be with Kenny Pickett. The top play is still Mahommes in expectation. Then there are just several pockets in which the field is moving towards (Lawrence/Burrow mostly). However you can make a case for many stacks and I recommend finding what WR or TE you want first today more than any day.
RB
Mcaffrey is a bit pricey to get to, but may get some extra work with Miami coming to town in the passing game. Otherwise Dalvin and Ekeler looks pretty good here. Value RBs also seem to be going under owned this week if you want lower owned plays.
WR
I'm interested in Metcalf this week for sure, as a pivot from St Brown.. Good matchup for him and seemingly coming in underowned. Tyreek is also someone worth mentioning here as someone who can score big, with single digit ownership. Hill has shown his ability to beat that defense in the past - just look at the superbowl ("Wasp") Nico Collins is also interesting because he has crept up as WR1 over the last 5 weeks in terms of targets while Brandon Cook is out. Houston is always in passing mode so the opportunity is there. I also circled Lazard with low ownership although his QB is less than optimal on paper.
TE
Its a somewhat gray area this week. Kelce is priced up there but performing on his own planet. If paying down, maybe Friermuth maes sense. Hockenson is also reasonably priced at half the Pat ownership.
Vegas vs My Totals
There are several games projecting high in points this week. Raiders have the highest expectations so we will have to see how they can get there. Chicago is likely not projecting properly without Fields so perhaps not a situation I put faith in.
Ownership vs Vegas
Cleveland vs Houston is the game that is going under owned right now, with Desean Watson returning. That can make things interesting if we find the right pieces. Chubb?
Defense vs Receivers
Some of these names need to be aligned with injuries but to give an idea of why I like Metcalf, here we go. Mixon may or may not play but also intruiging to get a RB from the Bengals.
Summary
Look for a path to your plays here.
Projections
Amari Cooper is intruiging as well. The problem is that we don't know what to expect from Watson in week 1. That also makes it an even better play if it pans out before we know what to expect.
